    C'est fantastique!

    Yeah...I don't speak French.

Spring break so far has been uneventful.  I won't say boring (though I have been bored alto), and I won't say "not-fun", because I have indeed had fun.

Friday, the half day:  ditched by one of my friends for another one of my friends.  Desto and I got in the hottub anyways.  Spent half of the evening playing minesweeper and painting my toe nails once she went to work.  Got bored and drove to West Frankfort bowl.  I helped mop, and then me and Brian ran in the park.

Saturday:  Brian had to work.  I played minesweeper and worked on my paper.  When he got off we hung out at Natalies.  We had a good time as always.

Sunday:  again, Brian was working and I had a paper due at midnight.  I think this was the day that the McConnells came over and I ate cake.  He came over and ended up staying the night! yay!

Monday:  brian took of work and we hung out together.  We went bike riding in the beautiful weather and it was lots of fun!

Tuesday:  disaster.  I had wyse and I forgot my calculator.  Then I had to leave for Jordan's grandpa's funeral, but then I got lost so I didn't get to go.  Then I met Brian for lunch at applebees and my day got alot better.  I then came home and played minesweeper and napped.  Then I had to go to the Big Brothers Big Sisters skating party.  It was lots of fun and then me and Hannah went to West Frankfort bowl. We didn't stay for very long and went back to her house to play guitar hero.  Brian came over after work =]

Wednesday:  my poor Brian was sick =(  I went to his house before practice and hung out while he frequented trips to the bathroom.  Then practice, which was stupid.  I am the most pointless captain ever.  Seriously.  I could go on a bitchfest right now, but I'm not in the mood.  Then I went back to Brian's and watched American Idol with him, his mom and his sister.  He was feeling lots better.

Today:  I'm getting ready for practice.  I've done a chem lab, met Brian for lunch at Fazolis, went to walmart and played minesweeper.  After practice = Brian time! woohoo!

    Yup.

Listen Closely, I'm Lost Without You

Seether lyrics in the title...fitting for the CONCERT TOMORROW!
    WOOHOO!

Tayler + Brian + eeels at the aquarium + Seether + Saving Abel + Nickelback = good time!

    I am very excited!

But.....I'm supposed to be working on an english assignment.
I can't seem to find any good articles to annotate.
    Either way, I'm playing minesweeper.

This blog doesn't have much of a point besides procrastinating english, and being excited.
So I probably shouldn't blog much more.

Did you know that the average persib swallows 8 spiders in their sleep throughout their lifetime?
    That grosses me out.

Before editing, there were like 20 grammatical errors.  But now Brian can't correct them.
    Haha Brian haha.

    Some Mad Hope

Hello Everyone, My Name is Tayler and I'm Addicted to Minesweeper.

    Hm...the first step to recovery.
Notice:  this is the first blog in a very long time in which I am not procrastinating an english assignment.
I was actually inspired by my mother's most recent tayler-oriented rant.

I was an hour and fifteen minutes late for curfew last night.  Please note that I very rarely go out and do things--meaning I don't miss curfew often.  I fell asleep and didn't hear my phone ring when my mother called me.
During this morning's conversation, my mother wanted to know which thing would hurt the most to have it taken away from me between my phone, Brian, my car, or the concert on Wednesday.  She was going to give me a choice of which one to sacrifice.
Naturally, I chose my car--explaining that I would need a ride to school, from school to work/volunteering, and then home.
They told me my ass could walk.
Fortunately, all of my "prized posessions were spared" and the argument was resolved.  But that is not the point.  The point is this:

Nobody has to tell me that I'm not the perfect daughter.  I don't think she exists.
However, I think my mother thinks I've fallen from grace.
She thinks I don't have any friends.  Which is false.  I have friends, we just don't hang out.
She thinks I don't respect myself.  Which is also false.  I know what I want.
She thinks I don't care about softball.  Which is partially true...I have realized that playing D1 softball is probably out of the question (haha....Eastern).  I care about Dirt Dawgs.
She thinks I don't care about school either.  Which is false to the tenth power.
She thinks many other things that she informed me of today, but I've presented my point fully already.

I'm not really sure where/when/why whe wrapped her head around the "fallen from grace" idea, but she has.

I asked her today if she was embarassed to call me her daughter.
She hesitated, said "it depends", and after a fruitful discussion, she said "no".
I literally had to remind her of my redeeming qualities.

There are sometimes I wonder what it is like to live on the other side.  Interpret that to what you will, I don't even know what it means exactly.

I miss Brian.  He is working tonight.  Because he is working every Sunday night from now on, expect alot of Sunday night blogs.  Well, Brian, because you're the only one that reads this, it will give you something to do Monday at work.
    I love you Brian!

    I'm going back to minesweeper.

Everything Will Change, but Love Remains the Same

It has once again been a while since I've posted.  Xanga, if only you knew the kind of schedule I endure.  Maybe THEN you'd be more patient!

Lots of new things on the home front...
First of all, I got a new cell phone.  Its an Env2.
Regardless of the fancy abbreviated word and number in the title, it is better than the razr.
Then again, a rock with a stick attached to it for an antennae would be better than my old razr.

Also, Brian and I went skiing at Hidden Valley on Valentines Day.
    It was pretty much amazing.
We were both extremely sore afterwards, but I think he had a good time.
(And I'm happy to report that neither of us ended up in a stretcher going down the mountain).

Today is our eleven month anniversary.
    Happy eleven month to us!
He is at work unfortunately, and I'm at home doing homework, but I can feel the love! =]

    School is going swell-ish.
I finished my lab report earlier tonight and I'm currently procrastinating an honors english thingy.
I signed up for my hideous schedule for next year: AP Lit, AP Bio, AP World History, AP Calc, Comparative Government/P.E., Spanish IV, and Mr. Davis's teacher assistant.
Simply seeing "AP" appear four times in that following phrase makes me want to cry.
Hopefully I can drop three of those classes and take some at John A. next year.  It is clearly the better option.
    Oh well, enough about that...

    Softball season is approaching rapidly.
I shall list a series of Pros and cons

    Pros:

    • bonding time with Desto and Holly
    • no more "georgie the dog" at work
    • (hopefully) improving the P.O.S. team from last year
    • using my co-captainship for good instead of evil
    • missing class...and having an excuse for it
    • free Subway subs
    • I'll get back into shape after a long winter of sitting on my ass
    • hoping to set stolen base record

    Cons:

    • Nikki, freshmen, and everyone who isn't Desto and Holly
    • I have to quit Marion Eye Centers temporarily = fund cut
    • tolerating the P.O.S. team until it improves
    • tolerating my co-captain (I don't know who it is yet)
    • missing Honors English about half the time
    • Subway subs 2-5 times per week
    • the possibility of getting fat if my grandpa brings cookies and McChickens to every game
    • being forced to miss Big Brothers Big Sisters on game days
    • two-a-days if we really suck it up bigtime
    • less Brian time on days I have away games =(

    But mostly Nikki. *Rant warning*
There is something very disenchanting about a girl who is barely out of high school who thinks she can boss my ass around.
Not only do I not appreciate authority from people who don't deserve it, I specifically don't appreciate it from someone who couldn't even handle college softball.
And besides....don't college kids have better things to do?  College stuff, huh?
    How about getting a life?
That sounds like a swell idea to me.
    *End rant*

Tayler's Top 5 list of hated things:

    1. Kids Bop kids ruining semi-decent songs, all the while dancing like sluts.  It is disturbing to know that ten year olds can gyrate muscles I was completely unaware of.
    2. Consumer Economics.  Really?  Thats how you spell taxes?
    3. My co-workers' (and mother's) obsession with reality TV.  No, I do not know if Sha-nay-nay got eliminated from American Idol.  Nor do I care.
    4. "scene" kids who spend more money on their hair in a week than I would in a year.  Me: "Wasn't your hair blue yesterday?" Scene kid: "No, that was two days ago."
    5. College girls disguised as "volunteer assistant coaches".  For explanation, please refer to rant above.

    Any random things you hate?

...back to english for me! Ciao!
